When a piece of freight is dimensionally too large for traditional dock-forklift loading into a traditional van trailer but still requires protection from the elements, a sliding tarp kit equipped Great Dane flatbed or stepdeck offers a flexible solution. Great Dane offers flatbeds and stepdecks in all steel construction, combo and all aluminum to suit your specific requirement.
Great Dane’s all steel Freedom SE model is dependable and sturdy. The Freedom SE all steel flatbed and dropdeck is available in various lengths as both a tandem or tridem axle. Great Dane’s all steel flats and steps offer various load securement options, durable and strong apitong weather resistant decking, modest pricing and many spec options like hitchhiker forklift mounting kits for Moffet, Princeton and Palfinger. The Freedom SE deck trailer gets the job done economically and can be customized for your requirements.

Great Dane’s lineup of combos are lightweight, and durable with value pricing. The Freedom LT has a steel main beam with steel or aluminum X-members plus aluminum floor construction, and is also available in stepdeck configurations. Great Dane offers tandem, tridem and several slide axle configurations. Great Dane’s dropdeck design gets the main deck height of the Freedom LT lower for more or oversize freight. We can achieve main deck heights from 42” to down as low as 34”.
