Great Dane’s Champion CS1 has a full 101” inside width and features logistic posts on 12” centers and 16” centers that ensure you have a post where you need it to install a strap or logistic bar. The CS1 is lined with a durable recycled and inexpensive plastic liner that is three times as puncture resistant as plywood. This plastic wall liner snaps in and out without any fasteners and can be easily and quickly replaced. There is no need to deal with dozens of rivets when performing a repair.
View InventoryGreat Dane also offers a Champion CS1 trailer spec version with 24” post spacing saving over 500+ lbs per unit. We combine tough thermoplastic PunctureGuard scuffliner and 0.040” exterior aluminum side sheets to offer a trailer that is still a full 101” interior width sheet but 550 lbs lighter than our 16” post-spaced model. The complete trailer weight can be brought down to 13,300 lbs with dual tires, and 12,900 lbs with aluminum wheels and Super Single tires.

The Great Dane Composite Plate wall trailer is offered with thicker panels that are stiffer and stronger than competing trailers by as much as 18%. Rivets are bucked in reverse to ensure that panel connections stay sound for hundreds of thousands of miles down the road. Great Dane offers the CP in 50″ and 24″ logistics center options. A High Base Rail version of the Composite CP trailer is also available. The Composite Plate trailer is a proven workhorse for long haul, automotive and full load applications.
View InventoryThe Champion CL is the original Great Dane dry van with the most options for the most complex spec requirements. Options include side doors, higher gross weights, drop and multi axle configurations and stainless steel sides. The optional “comb” rear frame wraps around and protects the door and hinges from dock impact. Great Dane can block foam insulate the CL but also offers an iVan version, which has panel press built side walls, an insulated roof and optional insulated sealed floor. The Champion CL is offered with several side wall and interior options including PunctureGuard, plywood and SSL.

Great Dane’s Champion SE SSL and CL SSL models have simple and long proven sheet and post wall construction stiffness, durability and ease of repair. Sturdy galvanized logistic posts are available on both 16” and 24” centers, giving shippers and operators plenty of slots to secure freight with logistic bars and straps. The SSL (Single Side Laminate) panel is made from extremely durable galvalume steel which will not rust, and is wrapped around a solid core fastened to logistic posts for an inside width of about 100”. Coupled with durable scuffliner options, it is one of the toughest trailer interiors on the market. Glasvan also offers Rackbuster interior protection packages for automotive rack haul carriers looking for the ultimate level of durability.
